Over the past year, we’ve established a local Community Garden Club to enhance mental health, wellbeing, and biodiversity while creating a safe, welcoming space for all ages to enjoy nature.

In partnership with Lewis Street Primary School and City of Trees, we’ve planted over 700 trees and are working on new planting areas, seating, and wildlife habitats. Thanks to funding from the Greater Manchester Green Spaces Fund, we’re also developing a fenced sensory garden at Ivy Park.

We’re a small but passionate group with big plans, and we’d love for you to join us! We meet Saturdays, 10 AM – 1 PM at The Castle for a brew and breakfast before heading out (weather permitting).
